The TEP has financed the installing of buried containers as a complementary measure to the projects carried out by the borough council for creating pedestrian areas and embellishing the streets in the town centre. These measures were carried out in Cervantes street, Square of San Antonio, Baldomero Villegas street, Claveles street and Juan José Ruano street.

The Fishermans Lighthouse was assigned by the Port Authority of Santander to the Borough Council of Santoņa to be used for tourist purposes. The TEP is participating in this project through the elimination of the turret and the burial of the final stretch of the electrical supply cable.

Recuperation of emblematic buildings designed using popular architecture from Santoņa by rehabilitating and embellishing faįades in areas of great importance to tourists. Up to now, work has been done in the Square of San Antonio and in the Square of Peralvillo through cofinance agreements with the owners of the buildings.
